Product Description

WOBO Membrane Contactor for Ammonia Stripping is designed to control water temperature between 35-45°C, with an inlet pH range of 10.5-12. The influent should have a suspended solids (SS) concentration of ≤5mg/L and a surface tension of ≥60mN/m. This innovative technology combines the traditional methods of ammonia stripping and acid absorption into a single membrane module, streamlining the two-step process within one unit.

Wastewater with ammonia nitrogen flows outside the hollow fiber membrane, and acid absorption solution flows inside. Gaseous NH3 passes through micropores, absorbed by the acid solution and converted back to ionic NH4+. Maintaining pH above 10 and temperature between 35-45°C facilitates NH4+ transformation, reducing ammonia nitrogen concentration to below 1mg/L. The process yields pure ammonium salt for reuse, suitable for various industries.
