Membrane absorption technology is a novel and efficient method for carbon capture. WOBO has developed a highly efficient carbon capture membrane absorber, which can be widely applied in carbon capture and acidic gas removal from natural gas, flue gas, biogas, and chemical production exhaust.

Product Description

The core of the membrane-based carbon dioxide capture equipment is the combination of hydrophobic PTFE porous hollow fiber membranes and a large membrane absorption separator, creating a highly efficient mass transfer interface for carbon capture. During the capture process, the high surface area of the PTFE hollow fiber membranes acts as an effective mass transfer interface, allowing carbon dioxide in the flue gas to pass through the membrane interface into the absorbent, thereby completing the carbon capture process.

The CO2-rich liquid absorbent can be heated using waste heat from the plant, and through the PTFE porous separation membrane, carbon dioxide is desorbed and concentrated under the combined effects of thermodynamics and vacuum pressure, thus achieving a cyclical carbon capture process.
