Carbon monoxide (CO) is a crucial raw material in the chemical industry, used in the production of methanol, acetic acid, anhydrides, OXO chemicals, formic acid, DMF, carbonates, oxalates, phosgene, and other chemicals. To meet the demand for large-scale, low-cost CO production, membrane separation technology offers an efficient and economical solution for high-purity CO separation through isobaric purification.

The membrane separation method relies on different permeation rates of gases through the membrane material to separate carbon monoxide. In the separation unit, CO-rich gas enters the separator from the inlet. Through the membrane's permeation effect, high-purity CO gas is obtained on the non-permeate side, while "fast gases" like hydrogen are extracted from the permeate side, thus achieving CO purification.
