Technical Principle

The solid oxide fuel cell uses electronics and generates electricity through several basic steps

1 Natural gas is reorganized by steam. This chemical reaction produces hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) and steam (H2O). Some unresolved natural gas will be left in the mixture.
2 The element mixture from the regulator enters the fuel cell on the anode side. At the same time, air (including oxygen) enters fuel cells on the cathode side.
3 The combination of oxygen in the air and free electrons, forming oxide ions in the cathode. Oxide ions with free electrons move from the cathode to anode through electrolyte.
4 In anode, oxide ions and hydrogen react to generate water (steam), and react with carbon monoxide (CO) to generate carbon dioxide (CO2).
5 The reaction involved in step 4 releases free electrons. These free electrons reach the cathode through the external circuit and generate electrical energy.
